Sean Lee Davies
Activist & Adrenaline Junkie

An activist, visual artist and tech entrepreneur, Sean Lee-Davies was formally the Editorial Director of Tatler Asia’s 15 Magazines, during which he interviewed and photographed some of the worlds most recognisable faces such as, Marc Jacobs, Keanu Reeves, Leonardo Di Caprio, Matthew McConaughey, Catherine Zeta-Jones Yao Ming, Jackie Chan and David Beckham.

After managing and contributing to editorial content for over a decade, his work has appeared in international publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, The Sunday Times and the International Herald Tribune bringing him notoriety for his work and style. Lee-Davies’ then left the publication world and founded his production company Awethentic Studio in 2012 to fully live out his passion for technology, education and adventure. Using the latest filming techniques and equipment, Awethentic Studio creates unique and immersive experiences and shares it with the public through the Awethentic App. Creating content such as personalised and accurate 3D avatars, Lee-Davies aims to be at forefront of technological innovations.

As an award winning TV producer and host, Lee-Davies has written, directed, produced and hosted tv shows and documentaries for National Geographic, Channel News Asia, FOX, LiTC and TVB.
Along side TV work under the Awethentic Studio umbrella, Lee-Davies has also produced multimedia campaigns for luxury brands such as Cartier, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, L’Oreal and Estee Lauder. From print work to digital campaigns, event planning and product launches, his work ethic and drive to create beautiful thought-provoking content is evident in his work.

As no stranger to hosting, Lee-Davies won acclaim as the Host and Executive Producer of the hit TV show ‘Tycoon Talk’ in which he interviewed some of Hong Kong’s high profile billionaires and leaders such as Sir Gordon Wu and Alan Zeman and Cecil Chao. As well as being the city’s most sought after MCs, Lee-Davies has hosted several balls and functions such as the Tatler Ball and luxury branded events such as BMW, Breitling, The Marina Bay Sands and The Venetian Macao to name a few.

Outside of print and production work, Lee-Davies spends much of his time dedicated to animal and environmental conservation. And in 2011 his efforts and passion lead him to start a non-profit organization: Project C:Change an environmental initiative that raises charitable funding and awareness about critical issues in Asia.
In 2015 Project C:Change called on the HK government to ban the ivory trade which then launched “Love is Wild,” a captivating and humbling fine art photography exhibition about our planet’s endangered wildlife shot by Sean Lee-Davies.
The exhibition features 40 prints by Lee-Davies that accompanies a 6-part TV eco-adventure show on TVB called “Adventures to the Edge,” as well as a coffee table book published by Asia One. Now the project has evolved tenfold, taking on a tech savvy spin and turning “Love is Wild” into an AR and VR travelling exhibition by bringing his prints to life with cutting edge technology. The aim is to rid the world of animals in captivity and to educate a new generation on the dangers and the inhumanity of caging animals for entertainment. This project was named “Awethentic Zoo” and already has plans for exhibiting at major galleries and shopping malls.

Lee-Davies passion for creating purposeful content and giving a voice to those in need has led him to the stages of TED X Talks in 2013 and 2015 to talk about his work in environmental conservation, education and “Love is Wild.” Striding to enrich our perceptions whether it is in the form of film, photography or technology. Lee-Davies’ immersive story telling has only reached its early chapters.
